OTD administers three organizations. CIVO develops relationships for the university; IPMO manages OU technology transfer, and CCEW engages faculty, students, and alumni to grow and diversify our economy.

Staff Profiles

Daniel is the University Vice President for Strategic Planning and Technology Development. He directs the commercialization operations of the OTD and manages Business Development efforts for the University including the administration of OU's Center for the Creation of Economic Wealth (CCEW).

As Director of Marketing and Public Relations for the University of Oklahoma's Office of Technology Development, Cameron is responsible for brand development and marketing for all OTD entities, including marketing of the University's IP Portfolio.

Coordinating the University of Oklahoma's Intellectual property and commercialization efforts on the Norman and Tulsa campuses is Dr. Hamm, Director for the Intellectual Property Management Office.

Managing the process of commercializing intellectual property originating from the Health Sciences Center is Dr. McMillen, Director for the Intellectual Property Management Office.

Colin, Assoc. Vice President for Technology Development and Exec. Director of the Intellectual Property Management Office, manages commercialization of OU intellectual property on the Norman, HSC and Tulsa campuses.

As Assistant Director of the IPMO, Dr. Garrett manages a portfolio of technologies created by faculty, students and staff at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.

Regina is the Technology Transfer Administrator for the IPMO. Regina reviews and tracks all intellectual property for the University, works on agreements and does all the federal reporting for IPMO.

As Assoc. Vice President and Exec. Director of CIVO, Joel facilitates connections among university, government, military and private-sector interests, and identifies growth opportunities in the areas of weather, radar and informatics.

Dan is the Senior Enterprise Relations Officer. Dan facilitates connections among university, government, military and private-sector interests, helping to build relationships and identifying growth opportunities with special focus on aerospace, aviation and energy.

CCEW's Entrepreneur-in-Residence, Rod Foster, serves as an in-house resource for CCEW teams. He challenges the student intern teams to address questions related to their projects while helping the teams to be realistic and thorough.

As the Program Manager of CCEW, Mariana manages the day-to-day operation of the CCEW, supervising the CCEW interns, and planning and coordinating special activities and projects.

Michael, Administrative Assistant for the CCEW, executes and plans the day-to-day administrative operations in CCEW.

Chris can be seen in the OTD focusing on startup companies and their relationships with the University. In the CCEW office as a Fellow and Strategic Analyst Chris assists in CCEW's commercialization activities, as well as performs business development analyses.

Stephanie is the Budget Director for OTD. Stephanie develops, maintains and monitors the annual budget and accounting procedures utilized in all departments under OTD along with overseeing all aspects of Human Resources for the department.

A CCEW Fellow and Strategic Analyst, Kim conducts strategic analyses and makes recommendations for technology and business development opportunities for the University as well as supports the CCEW internship program.
